Branding for Energy-Safe Buildings

Branding for Energy-Safe Buildings

Strong eco logo for an expanding British business

energy-safe buildings are a secure option on remote construction sites and offer low energy consumption once in situ. Offering up to a 60% reduction in heating and power costs compared to an industry standard equivalent cabin. Renewable energy sources are utilised along with excellent insulation values, low energy lighting and other energy saving technologies are optimised. They have been credited as a “Skanska green supply chain awards finalist”.

The team at Relocatable Building Services contacted me to get involved in the branding of their new portable building project, the energy-safe building.

The focus was on the environmental savings the unit is capable of providing real carbon reduction savings for construction sites enabling construction firms to meet increasingly stringent energy targets.

The result is a structured strong logo mark alongside smart formal lettering. The focus is on the mark which is formed from an isometrically viewed cube in a suitably environmental green which references not only the structural and modular nature of portable buildings but also forms a letter “e”.

In full resolution the logo is overlaid with a leaf like pattern, this degrades carefully to a line based solution for low res and single colour variations.

Alongside the brand I created a promotional PDF leaflet, extending the branding beyond the logo for use in real life situations.
