The company had previously collated and emailed the information in a Word document, distributed to their various branches and team leaders for further dissemination to the coal face staff.
Currently enjoying a period of fast expansion, ISS were looking to add a layer of professionalism to the recurring document in order to better relay the important safety information. There was an additional desire to expand the document to cover company based training opportunities, staff initiatives and general news.
We set about creating a magazine style document that could be sent via email and printed off on location for staff. The goal was to create an attractive formal safety briefing that staff wanted to read with valuable information and opportunities.
With little existing design to work from I developed the magazine design in it’s entirety from the “Safety First” brand to the the documents look and feel.
The briefing is loosely split into two with vital safety updates, accident information and key actionable elements requiring clear and easy to read pages with a second less formal company news element following this pattern but with more scope for visual decoration.
The well received result, now being rolled out to staff is a concise informative briefing which helps keep ISS’s rail infrastructure labour force in the loop with the latest safety news and information from ISS.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_raw_html]JTNDaWZyYW1lJTIwc3JjJTNEJTIyaHR0cHMlM0ElMkYlMkZjZG4uZmxpcHNuYWNrLmNvbSUyRndpZGdldCUyRnYyJTJGd2lkZ2V0Lmh0bWwlM0ZoYXNoJTNEZnVrYTd5ZzQlMjZhbXAlM0JiZ2NvbG9yJTNERUVFRUVFJTI2YW1wJTNCdCUzRDEzOTg4NzE2ODIlMjIlMjB3aWR0aCUzRCUyMjg1NCUyMiUyMGhlaWdodCUzRCUyMjQ4MCUyMiUyMGZyYW1lYm9yZGVyJTNEJTIyMCUyMiUyMHNjcm9sbGluZyUzRCUyMm5vJTIyJTIwc2VhbWxlc3MlM0QlMjJzZWFtbGVzcyUyMiUyMGFsbG93ZnVsbHNjcmVlbiUzRCUyMmFsbG93ZnVsbHNjcmVlbiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRmlmcmFtZSUzRQ==[/vc_raw_html][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”fadeIn” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”image_grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” interval=”3″ source=”media_library” images=”205,203,202,201,200,199,198,197″ img_size=”full” external_img_size=”” onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” column_number=”3″ grayscale=”no” enable_drag=”” direction_nav=”” control_nav=”” show_image_description=”no” pause_on_hover=”” frame=”” choose_frame=”default” images_space=”gallery_with_space” title=”” custom_srcs=”” custom_links=””][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1672,1671″ img_size=”full” css_animation=”fadeIn” column_number=”3″ grayscale=”no” images_space=”gallery_with_space”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
