YSP

It’s set in 500 acres of the grounds of the 18th Century Bretton Hall, which is now part of the University of Leeds.

YSP was established in 1977 and now boasts a number of galleries and a large visitors centre. Amongst the fields, valley’s and trees you’ll discover permanent sculptures from artists such as Henry Moore and Barbera Hepworth.

The galleries and outside spaces host temporary exhibitions, with Jaume Plensa exhibiting on the day we visited. We enjoyed our day, our daughter loved running around the open spaces, scrambling among the trees and bushes and appreciating the sculptures. She wanted to see the ‘man’ by Plensa that was advertised on the visitor map.

We also enjoyed lunch at the cafe which was fresh, local and tasty! A few pics of the day below and as always, on Flickr

The 3 P’s of Printing

Since going solo I’ve picked up work from all sorts of places from Southampton to Tyneside via Canary Wharf, and in all sorts of disciplines; web design & search engine marketing to various print projects.

Much of my work has been on the web side of things, which is great as I LOVE designing websites and I’m not surprised that digital work makes up the bulk of my jobs.

How much does a logo cost?

A logo could cost anywhere from nothing to a six-figure sum and over!

You’re not here to be given a huge ballpark figure, so, along with an idea to be more succinct and direct, logo design starts from £3,000.

The Posh Carpet Shop

A concept design for a high end carpet store based around carpet loops.
